Allantoin is a moisturising and skin-soothing agent that actively supports and promotes cell turnover and skin regeneration. Commonly found in products that support healing and skin health, it is generally safe to use in treating dry and itchy skin, acne scarring and can also improve overall skin texture.
Aqualicia® is the trade name given to a patented biomimetic ingredient that regulates moisture flow within the skin, hydrates and prevents moisture loss. Obtained from the shrub, Acacia Macrostachya, it is sustainably sourced in Burkina Faso and extracted in a process that protects both people and the environment.
Patented anti-ageing peptide derivative that regulates autophagy - the natural process where cells decompose or recombine damaged or unnecessary components. Aquatide® is proven to slow and even reverse visible signs of ageing and enhances the absorption and effect of other active ingredients in skincare products.
Because it can mimic your skin's natural oils, Squalane is non-comedogenic and highly sought after for its moisturising and anti-ageing properties. It is a natural inflammatory, and in addition to being able to moisturise and soften your skin, it can also protect against UV damage and hyperpigmentation.
Vitamin E is a family of fat-soluble, essential nutrients with powerful antioxidant properties. I always have a softspot for minimalist packaging products for its clean look. Lagom packaging caught my eye too. I've recently won myself their products, mainly Cellus Aqualene solution and Cellus Revive Essence Toner. I've used them for quite a while now and this is what I feel about both of the products... • Cellus Aqualene Solution ✓ It's lightweight and fast absorbing. It has a clean light scent which I enjoy. It makes my skin feels hydrated and glowing. It does feels a very slight stickiness that doesn't really bothers me. The Cellus Aqualene solution is sold in a 50ml bottle with dropper packaging. But I receive it in a form of mini ampoules, which I love. (PS: It may not be the best saving the earth) X I can't tell that my skin has become firmer, but it has definitely brightened after using the product. After applying, I can feel a slight film over my skin which I'm struggling if I like it or not. • Cellus Revive Essence Toner ✓ I love the clear packaging, so I can see the volume. The milky colored essence toner hydrates my skin instantly. It's has a slight citrus scent just like the Aqualene Solution. It has a silky finishing which was still alright. I like it's lightweight, and non-sticky finishing. X Looking through the ingredients list, I see a number of essential oil in it which may not suit people with sensitive skin. So far after doing a skin test with this toner, my skin did not show up any objections to it (thankfully!).

Before trying this, I was using another moisturiser from another big brand and I thought my skin was hydrated. But subsequently I felt that the area around my eyes constantly feel dry and also starts to have tiny lines at the bottom of my eyes near the nose bridge area. I decided to try this cellus aqualene solution and for the first three days I already noticed the differences~ The lines below my eyes were less visible especially in photos and videos, and my eye area don’t feel dry anymore~
Fantastic serum that's really hydrating. Absorbs quite easily but does leave a thin film over the skin. Love the after effects though, my skin felt really moisturised and plump. And I felt it drastically improved the texture of my skin too. It left my skin feeling really supple and smooth.
